Shreya Ghoshal

Shreya Ghoshal (born 12 March 1984) is an Indian playback singer various Indian films. She has performed in various languages including Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam, Nepali, Assamese, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya and Punjabi. She has received several awards and nominations, including four National Film Awards for best playback singer, three State Film Awards, five Filmfare Awards (four for best playback singer), and eight Filmfare Awards South. She has established herself as a leading female playback singer in Indian cinema. Ghoshal's career began when she won the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contest. Her Bollywood playback singing career began with Devdas, for which she received a National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer, a Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer, and a Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent. Since then, she has received many other awards. Ghoshal was also honored from the U.S. state of Ohio, wherein governor Ted Strickland  declared 26 June as "Shreya Ghoshal Day. She was also featured in Forbes’ list of the top 100 celebrities of India. She was declared the most popular artist on Saavn (an Indian music streaming service) in 2013, followed by Arijit Singh, A. R. Rahman, Atif Aslam, and Mohit Chauhan. Her first Kannada song is Krishna nee begane baro from the movie Pyaris pranaya. Now she is the most wanted female singer in Karnataka.

Prabhu Deva

Prabhu Deva ( born 3 April 1973) is an Indian film director, dance choreographer & actor, known for his works predominantly in Telugu,Tamil, Bollywood, Malayalam and  Kannada films. In a career spanning twenty-five years, he has performed & designed a wide range of dancing styles. He has garnered 2 National Film Awards for Best Choreography; widely referred in the media as Indian Michael Jackson. Beginning with a series of acting roles in the 1990s and early 2000s including Kadhalan (1994), Love Birds  (1996), Minsara Kanavu(1997), Kaathala Kaathala (1998) and  Vanathai Pola (2000), Deva then ventured into direction with the 2005 Telugu film Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. Sunidhi Chauhan

Sunidhi Chauhan (born Nidhi Chauhan, 14 August 1983) is one of the most popular Indian playback singers & performer today, best known for her Punjabi songs and Hindi film songs in Bollywood. She has also recorded songs in several other Indian dialects and languages, such as; Oriya, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam,  Bengali, Assamese and Nepali, Urdu and English, making her one of the most recorded voices in India today with over 3000 studio recordings. Chauhan made her International debut with the song Heartbeat (Indian Mix). She has been awarded with prestigious national awards on several occasions and has established herself as the strongest live performer and singer in India to date. Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan is a Hindu festival that celebrates the love and duty between brothers and sisters; the festival is also popularly used to celebrate any brother-sister relationship between men and women who are relatives or biologically unrelated. It is called Rakhi Purnima or Rakhi, in many parts of India. The festival is observed by Hindus, Jains, and many Sikhs. Raksha Bandhan is primarily observed in India, Mauritius and parts of Nepal. It is also celebrated by Hindus and Sikhs in parts of Pakistan, & by some people of Indian origin around the world. Raksha Bandhan is an ancient festival, & has many myths & historic legends linked to it  like the   Rajput queens practised the custom of sending rakhi threads to neighbouring rulers as token of brotherhood.

On Raksha Bandhan, sisters tie a rakhi (sacred thread) on her brother's wrist. This symbolize the sister's love & prayers for her brother's well-being, & the brother's lifelong vow to protect her. The festival falls on the full moon day  of the Shravan month of the   Hindu lunisolar calendar. Raksha Bandhan in Sanskrit literally means "the tie or knot of protection". It is an ancient Hindu festival that ritually celebrates the love & duty betwe- -en brothers & their sisters. The sister performs a Rakhi ceremony, then prays to express her love and her wish for the well being of her brother; in return, the brother ritually pledges to protect and take care of his sister under all circumstances. It is one of the several occasions in which family ties are affirmed in India. The festival is also an occasi- -on to celebrate brother-sister like family ties between cousins or distant family members sometimes between biologically unrelated men and women. To many, the festival transcends biological family, brings together men and women across religions, diverse ethnic groups and ritually emphasizes harmony and love. It is observed in the Hindu calendar month of Śrāvaṇa, and typically falls in August every year.

Atif Aslam

Atif Aslam (Muhammad Atif Aslam) is a Pakistani singer , dancer and film actor. His film debut was in the 2011 social drama Bol, which was the one of the highest-grossing Pakis- -tani films of all the time. He has recorded numerous chart-topping songs, and is known for his vocal belting technique. He was declared the most popular artist on Saavn (an Indian music streaming service) in 2013, followed by Arijit Singh, A. R. Rahman, Shreya Ghoshal, and Mohit Chauhan. Atif is the youngest recipient of Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, a Pakistani civilian decoration. Atif was born into a Muslim family in Wazirabad, Pakistan. He began his education in kindergarten at Kimberley Hall School, Larkana. In 1991 he moved to Rawalpindi where he continued his studies in St. Paul's Cambridge School,  Satellite Town, Rawalpindi. Atif returned to Lahore in 1995 where he continued his studies in Divisional Public School, Lahore. He continued onwards to his FSC in Punjab College where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree. He married his long-time girlfriend, educationist Sara Bharwana, in Lahore on 30 March 2013.Atif has three songs featured in the American independent film Man Push Cart which has won international awards and was praised by critics. He then sang two songs in Mira Nair's film The Reluctant Fundamentalist. His two other songs 'Doorie' and 'Maula' from his second album Doorie were picked up in 2010 for the soundtrack of the Hindi version of the Mexican film La mujer de mi hermano, directed by Ricardo de Montreuil.
